Erkki came to us with the wish to gift his wife a custom-made ring for their 25th wedding anniversary. As they had married long ago and at a very young age — when there were no means for luxurious rings — Erkki now wanted to surprise his partner with something truly special.
He told us about their seaside summer house and about Karin, and his one clear wish was that the stone should be greenish-blue — the color of the sea. He entrusted us fully with the design.
We started by finding the right gemstone — we chose a truly unique sapphire that appears blue in daylight and green in artificial light. Just like the sea, which sometimes looks more blue and other times more green. The chosen stone was beautifully faceted by local artisans at Estonian Gemfactory.
